A big part of the China Resource Center story is the unraveling of the dichotomy between our experiences in China and what people in the West say about China. We have a deep heart to clarify Western perceptions of China, her Church and the Chinese people. We have developed several tools to help people clearly understand some of the changes that have happened in China over the last 20 years.
The Chinese Puzzle Book: China Resource Center President Mike Falkenstine’s new book on China and her Church. Think of it as a Modern-Day China 101 book, it’s now being used by multiple sending agencies as a part of their new staff training programs. Great for anyone going to China for the first time or those who want to learn more about China today.
China Resource Journal: A quarterly analysis of Current Trends in China. In the Journal, we like to focus on new and exciting trends happening in China today. A very popular tool for those who are interested in learning more about modern-day China
The China Resource Podcast: A weekly radio show featuring China Resource Center President, Mike Falkenstine. Join us each week as Mike interviews people who are actively engaged with China and have fresh insights into the current situation in China. China Resource Center You Tube Channel: Get a first-hand look at some of what is happening in China today and what is happening in our organization. Our You Tube Channel is divided into three playlists: Busting China Myths is a playlist that will have numerous 4 minute videos that take a quick look at some of the myths still circulating about China. The second playlist is what we call Thirty Second Commercials, which are short videos that quickly clarify perceptions about China. Great to use if you’re leading a team to China and want to have something to show at your church or meeting.
